Choosing an industrial vacuum cleaner on the filtration principle

0

The scheme of industrial vacuum cleaners operation is unified for all models: running engine creates a vacuum then the air masses along with dust and debris are sucked into the tank where they successfully pass through the cleaning filters and get discharged outside the unit. There are three basic filtration principals and each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages.

The first type of industrial vacuum cleaners is equipped with a special bag to collect dust and debris. These dust collectors may be made of paper, thick and solid tissue, which should be periodically cleaned. Tissue bags are used to collect particles of large size, paper bags are used to capture the fine dust, allergens and odors. Paper bags are utilized after filling. When using a vacuum cleaner with a paper bag you should avoid spiky particles that can destroy the dust collecting bag too quickly. The second type of vacuum cleaners is equipped with “cyclone” kind of filtration. This kind of filtration makes the construction debris enter the built-in filter container under the influence of centrifugal force. Such type of industrial vacuum cleaners is used to clean the area from liquids and wet litter. The third type of industrial cleaners is represented by units equipped with aqua filtration: the sprayed air flow goes through a container with foamed water where the dust of large sizes is collected. The finer dust is moved to a special separator for further collecting. This kind of technology is considered to be the most versatile, as it provides the application of effective multi-filtration system with minimal additional equipment supplies. However, the work of industrial vacuum cleaner with aqua filtration requires the use of large volume of treated water, which is quite difficult to get on the construction site.

It should be noted that the manufacturing of industrial vacuum cleaners without the filter is not carried out as biological purification of air must be performed. Please remember the fact that fine filter of the equipment is periodically contaminated during the vacuum cleaner operation. This contamination significantly reduces the unit performance efficiency and thus sometimes forced stop can be applied for manual cleaning of the filter elements. Manual filters’ cleaning is made with a special comb to avoid the possibility of some unit elements removing. Present-day vacuum cleaner models clean the filters with the help of pneumatic impact. The operator simply pushes the button providing a powerful air flow movement through the filter in the opposite direction, making the filtration capability stable and increasing the time of industrial vacuum cleaner operation.

Some models of industrial vacuum cleaners can be equipped with different types of filtration: bags, nylon dust collectors and polyurethane waste collectors for cleaning from liquids. Your task is to determine what type of filtrations meets your special needs.
